Family update

My grandma passed away peacefully surrounded by her family yesterday early afternoon. Thank you to everyone for their well wishes and prayers.

Today is John and my 13th wedding anniversary. A bit bittersweet, but pretty wonderful to spend it with family. Our family bought us a gift card to a local restaurant for an anniversary dinner tonight. There is so much love here right now.

... notch, loving, supportive, and caring show, that doubt would have been dashed away last night when I told our road manager that we had to leave immediately (before the show was even over). John didn't do finale and friends all over the lot came out of the woodwork to give us hugs, prayers, and well wishes. For our oldest son's birthday we decided to go RVing! Surprise!! We based our decision on where to go on where we could find the least expensive Brazilian Steakhouse. :) We ended up in the Bluffton, IN KOA. Our (mis)adventure started out in the usual fashion. ... when everyone left aren’t permanent…we’ll see my parents again next week in Mt. Hope, Ohio and after we return from the East Coast, we’ll see my grandparents again when we travel northern Indiana on our way south again.

We’ve officially entered our third month on the road and like last season, it’s become so much easier now that we have the first three months out of the way. I’m still not for sure that this is the forever life ...

We have arrived home, but before that, spent the last week visiting relatives in Indiana. Toured most of the state. Timing was right to visit Lance's dad at the funeral home :(, but saw many relatives and enjoyed the time together.
