      her hand I hold
and have to say this very day
my love for her cannot grow old.

What a wonderful 50th birthday extravaganza this has been...

Down to Los Angeles to see dear friends and experience delightful surprises and adventures. Then over to Florida for a taste of Mickey, Harry and all the related fun (Dole Whip!) A reunion with Heidi - what a blast. And then ...

We left the Marriott in Bogota at 5.45 am and took a taxi for the 20 minuit ride to the airport. American Airways took us to Miami where we have a 4 hour wait till we leave for Las Vegas.

Totally unimpressed by the new Miami airport - the staff and organisation were not impressive either, a grey airport with grey and confusing staff and signage.

escape at about midday. We all needed a break after that, and so while Brad and
Patrick went shopping for headphones, Michelle and Caitlin stayed back at the
room we went to get Deborah some medicine from the Walgreen’s, - then we found
a neat little cheese shop which sold us some delicious rolls for lunch. Meeting up back at the room, ...

... ship. It was hard to believe that a week had passed since I had traversed this same gangway on the way on to the ship. As I gathered my bag and made my way to Customs, I was starting to feel the aftereffects of so little sleep throughout the week and the night before.

I breezed through Customs. The only question I was asked was had I had fun and did I have too much to drink like most people. He told me that next cruise I should make sure I took Gatorade with me to have ...
