... up again as there is not much to enjoy in El Paso. It is cold here. Only around 7C at daytime and rain all day. Same is forecasted for tomorrow. That is why I am not too sad about the fact that the White Sands do not work out tomorrow.

The other thing that influenced my mood today was the very bad hotel I booked myself into yesterday. It was a recommendation from my travel guide (book). A hotel with hostel atmosphere and 1930s charm. Well, that hotel had a ...

        Wide Open Spaces

Greetings on late Thursday afternoon from El Paso, Texas.

Well we almost made Las Cruces but El Paso was about 44 miles short and it seemed a much bigger city. We are staying out near the airport right along Highway 10, so we'll get a quick start to Tucson in the morning.

I'm not sure I've ever seen so much wide open spaces as there were between San Antonio and El Paso. There was one stretch of highway where the exits were over 100 miles ...

I went to the airport only to find out that I left my money next to the car in the parking lot. I went to the bathroom and I told a man to drive me to the parking lot and I would give him 100 dollars. He did but when we go there the car was gone. The man got angry, and I was ...

        Fall of Death Star

... comedy channel. Adios Death Star. I think that all will benefit from less made up news and more reality, but now I better understand republican's alternative universe. If this is all you watch...what else could we expect. There are plenty of wonderful republicans in this world - my neighbors, aunt, david brooks from npr, and many others I'm sure...but not a lot others. This is comedy to me - that's it. Nothing personal at all.
