Day 8: The Long Drive Home

At this point we split with the Lys since we wanted to get an earlier start and they wanted to sleep in. When we said goodbye, they were just starting to get up and eat some breakfast.

This summer, the Ly and Jun families decided to combine forces to spend a week in a cabin in the mountains. We had wanted to rent a cabin together for some time but it was pretty expensive to rent a place in Ontario. Then I stumbled across rentals in the Smokies and was shocked to discover just how inexpensive it was there!

... in town for a tournament and needless to say was very excited about what I was doing for my trip. The Detroit game was on ESPN and therefore had a later start time so I actually had time to sit down in a restaurant to eat a meal. The "guest experience captain" stopped by my table and asked how I was and why I had chose to stop there. ... The camera clicking was going at a higher level than ever. Even when we returned to the hotel there were group shots for each of the busloads.

It's crazy to think that some people take the metro to and from work everyday. People also walk to a lot of the places which you hardly see here in America.
