... flying. I was very happy today to see that the U.S. flags were flying. I've wanted to see the U.S. flags for quite some time and was happy to finally see them. My next hope is for the Colorado flags but I was happy today and my pictures show it. I took so many pictures of the flags and the street! Then when everyone met up I took more family pictures with the flags as a background.

i am now with my hiking buddies 25 hours into a very scenic 32 hour train ride to Sacramento where we're gonna spend the night then hop on a train an bus to Yosemite!!!! We're so close!

... and his friends. On Monday we went to the Denver museum of natural history and science. We loved it, Alex got to see Pompei all over again, and wear a lab coat to do tests on herself. Liz got to study the stars and watch a video on super volcanoes. We both watched this awesome 3D IMAX film about tornado chasers and this guy who built a vehicle that could withstand being in the eye of a tornado, it was awesome.
After 2 days in Denver we went down to Colorado Springs ...
