The room was very large with min-kitchen. Amenities include Complementary breakfast (the work) and free laundry room. My only complaint is that the location is too close to the main highway. You could hear the traffic all day and night.

... history to visit Woodland Cemetery and Arboretum in search of the burial site of one of Patty's ancestors. We had a section and lot number. We did not have a map. That proved to be a problem. We drove around and around and around without ever seeing any section markers. We found Orville and Wilbur's graves, but not the one we were looking for. Maybe we should have done a little more research :0). We may try again tomorrow.

We stayed one night in Amana, IA, toured and shopped in the Colonies, ate at the Ox Yoke Inn and the Ronneburg Restaurants. Drove across Iowa, Indiana and Illinois. Iowa is third in food production (only topped by Texas and California!) and what amazing farmers we have in the US! The corn belt is GREEN; they must have had lots of rain this year, like we had in Cheyenne. Visiting with our Chadron High classmates, Nona (Burk) and Marvin Chasek ...

Inside the building, there were more displays and information about the Wright Brothers....we had reached the saturation point...so headed back to the KOA. In our travels in and around Dayton, we've seen huge shopping malls and big name stores all boarded up and closed. Whole areas all closed up and abandoned. It's like a ghost town. But, on a positive spin, we ...

... They also have 'Hay Rides' which consist of sitting in a big wooden trailer behind a small tractor and being pulled around the park... And, tonight we discovered that there are fireflies all over the place. This is a big thing for us..we don't have fireflies out west in Alberta. It's too hot and dry. They seem to love hot weather and damp conditions. It's 35c and we are beside several ponds, rivers and swamps. It's so lush and green ...

With the EZ bedded down, Tyler from the FBO kindly ferried us to a local car rental office from where we drove to a nearby hotel in Centreville. The surrounding countryside appeared ...
