The room was very large with min-kitchen. Amenities include Complementary breakfast (the work) and free laundry room. My only complaint is that the location is too close to the main highway. You could hear the traffic all day and night.

... concerned about our fuel consumption. Instead of burning our typical 9.5 gallons per hour while making 165 knots, due to our low altitude, irregular course, and 20-knot headwinds, I had probably been burning 12.5 gallons per hour while making only 135 knots over the ground, and much of this while flying the wrong way as we escaped the storm by Buffalo.

By throttling back once we were in the clear, I was finally able to conserve fuel, ...

Then later Katie brought several bottles of shaving cream and the kids sprayed them into a baby pool, it was awesome! After a great dinner the kids tried out Uncle Tom's homemade bike/car wash! Later we had a bonfire and hung out, such good times!!! It was so great seeing everyone and catching ...

We arrived after decent plane travel and had a very friendly and helpful taxi driver to Botanic View BB. Bernie, Bernadette, met us at the door with a welcoming smile and a spot of tea, with milk, of course. Left for Duncan's game planning to catch a bus. It never arrived so hailed a taxi. He didn't know where the Seapoint Rugby club was so promised he would get us there for twenty euro. He talked on the phone, drove very fast, and typed into ...

... so I can stay in touch with my classmates. I'm sure I'm forgetting some things, but you get the picture - I have an unfortunately necessary extra bag. 5:00 in the morning, waiting at the airport terminal, I can't help but think that I should have just packed a suitcase and saved myself the trouble. I'm about to see how much trouble my semi oversized backpack will actually ...

... Today we visited an Ivory carver. This man has been building ships for the last 40 years. They are the most detailed models all made in ancient ivory, even down to the sail ropes. Absolutely amazing skills. Tomorrow we will visit the National Airforce museum and Indianapolis Motor Speedway, before heading to Chicago on ...
