Today we visited the John Deere seeder plant. We took a tour of the factory, where they make, assemble, and repair seeders. They make many types and sizes of seeders there, from small 4-ro seeders to 24-row ones. All their seeders are custom made, when a farmer orders them. ... reality is really beginning to sink in. Our trip is ending. I still feel like I have a lot to digest from this past month on the road. I am sure I will do a lot of reflecting tomorrow. But for now, I am immediately grateful for our safe travels, our developing relationship, our challenging puppy, and for the awe and wonder I always feel after an adventure such as this.
