... the spigot. I was bummed that I had emptied the "good" water already. Oh well, gotta have something to drink. I had a great, quiet ride up to Muscatine. What a great road for cyclists! The city was an eye sore coming up from the south side. It's very industrial with tons of train tracks and semis. I spotted two touring cyclists across a divided road going the opposite direction. It was two girls, and one had a big smile and waved. I was so bummed that I didn't get to meet them. ...

Get a room or at least a site with power. The camping is free, they have showers, but only the real payers have water and power. How.small a generator do they make. Weather has been unbelievably good. No rain. We dodged a Thunderstorm ...

It has to start with a dawn departure. Up before the crack of dawn. Bike prepped the night before, gassed and ready. Why do the tires always need air? It was a nice day to ride. Cool again in the morning, 58 degrees in the lower bottoms. Some fog. But have packed well so far. Put the lining in the jacket until the temp gets to 80, and it's not too bad. Yes, the heated seat and grips were on again. Hey, 60 degrees and off feels ...
