The trip home went as planned and nothing very unexpected happened. Under occasional sprinkles I dropped the car , which is much easier in the new terminal; they now have an rental office outside the terminal. The old procedure was a bit strange. From Roswell we drive to Carlsbad Caverns. The caverns are on the Unesco world heritage list, so we decide to pay them a visit. Located 250 meters under ground are loads of stalagmites, stalactites, draperies, soda straws and popcorn. Soda straws being the tiny ones hanging from the ceiling . In Europe we call them Spaghetti. Popcorn are located on the ground. The cavern is beautiful, but we saw an even more beautiful cavern in Slovenia last year, so were a little spoilt. ...
... and then we got her up for cake and presents. Mama was so happy to see Addy's excitement over the minion cake I made her! Once again, so many wonderful and thoughtful presents! A big thanks to Cousin Bennet for helping Addy open her gifts!

... each computer screen were 7 categories of advisers to the President – CIA, UN, Iraq politicians, etc. When you clicked on one of these categories, two people came up giving opposing opinions and advice. You had to listen to both sides of the argument of all the advisers and then decide what you would do. At the end, the totals were given and then what President Bush did. It was very interesting.
