From there I checked into the Hilton Columbus at Easton - lovely place, after my last experience with hotels I have decided it is luxury all the way for me!     ... and on paved roads more/less around civilization, 6 liters of extra water on the bike was probably too much. 3 or 4 L would be a better amount.

  • Same with having 4 mountain house meals on the bike. 2 would have been a better number. This kind of stuff is easy to resupply.
  • For the amount of cooking that I did, the smaller 600mL fuel bottle would have been good for the stove.
