The land around the playground was green and lush and prooved to be a pretty awesome back ground for family photos of the kids ( even with the weird guy screaming out behind us not sure who he was yelling at seeing as he was alone) We drove through old town colorado springs just looking at all the houses that like they were movie sets.     ... on 70 to Limon CO and took state road 24 southwest to Colorado Springs. Not as scenic as Missouri and Kansas - no crops just scrub land with some small cattle ranches.
