      The trip from Raton to Colorado Springs was only a couple of hours. We arrived at Cheyene Mountain state park about 1 pm. The campground is very new, everything is pretty and clean.       As we didn't bother seeing any of Colorado Springs and felt a little bit bad so decided to stop at nearby Manitou Springs which lies slightly West of CS, and boy are we glad we did!
