    Going home

A travel blog entry by rhodetrip67 on Aug 02, 2015

Stayed over in Charlotte last night. It was our first experience with AirBNB and it went well. Jonathan and his partner were very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. On the other hand our flight experience was not nearly as good. USAir/American Airlines really screwed the pooch. They were asking for volunteers to give up seats and we decided ...

You quickly remember why travel is an experience in chaos and long, long airline sky and terminal time.

Our plane was about an hour late leaving Madrid. Good thing, pilot picked up speed and arrived in Charlotte, South Carolina at our appointed time. Really nice aisle seats across from each other with plenty of leg room. (Of course there was we had already paid extra for seat upgrades). Everyone had their own little mobile seat unit with ...

I'm sitting in the Charlotte airport on my 8 hour layover, drinking a cold beer and reflecting on the last 10 years. This trip is far and beyond anything I've ever done before, and it is really exciting. Especially since I still don't have half of it planned yet!

I'm going to keep my eyes, mind, and heart open and have a great time!

    Big Mistake

A travel blog entry by aprils331 on Jan 18, 2014

... He said we were suppose to start boarding 10 minutes ago. I panicked. I apologized over and over again as we were walking to the plane, told him I've never been late yet and I'm sorry. He just smiled and told me not to worry about it, it would be ok. I got on the plane, threw my bags in the closet and we started boarding. Luckily the flight attendant is a friend of mine and he did everything for ...
