Day three was all about visiting Universal Studios. Well, visiting Universal Studios and a long, slow drive down to San Diego, but nothing interesting happened on that stretch of the journey so I won't go on about it. Nothing is as frustrating as having a terrific day at an amusement park but even with all the fun, if the kids don’t get one “last” thing in the “last” shop near the exit they leave crying or in a foul mood.
