The morning was frosty in Banff but clear and we checked out of our hotel and got into the car to head to Calgary. Whilst doing some investigating for winter dog sled tours we noticed that one of the main companies in Canmore also opened up during the summer for summer tours of their kennel faciliaties....whoop!

I had read in a brochure that not all campsites are placed in reservations and the earlier you got there, the better the chance of getting one of the so called "walk in" sites.
