Day #3

... a very long story short we spent about two hours on the mountain while waiting for BCAA before me, Livvie and Hazie headed down in Mike and Julie and Lucy and Johnny’s mini-van. The seven of us headed slowly towards Canmore, our destination for that night, stopping at many boardwalks and so as not to get too far ahead of Mama and Dada who were waiting for BCAA. The guy got the car started and we ...

An early morning trip of four and half hours flight time from Ottawa to Calgary had us landing at 10.15 am Calgary time. We gained 2 hours. Thankfully tomorrow we get a bit of a sleep in! ...

We circle under Glacier National Park, not able to take the "going to the sun" road due to the snow pack on the road. The 12" of snow the days before didn't help crews who were expected to have the road open. We ...

... de-compress from work, and by that point the vacation is more than half-over and we’re thinking about work again…and we return not rested, but equally or more stressed. No one on their deathbed ever said, “I wish I had worked harder.” Life is short, friends…find a way to do something about it. It may not be easy and your obligations may make it seem impossible, but next thing you know you’ll be 50, 55, ...
