      ... that Wisconsin is serious about its recycling at least in the rest areas! Talk about being very specific about sorting your recycled items. Inside the rest area, they had a dirt track car.       ... being the only large scale brewery left in the state.

      The tour was free and informative. The brewery sits in the original location and dates back 150 years or so. The technology was amazing as were the 3 free beers at tours end.

      Then a quick drive across town to a true Milwaukee bowling institution, called Landmark Lanes. This is a bowling alley first and foremost then a dive bar, pool hall, disco, live music ...

      I keep remembering these funny things that have happened so I feel, I should blog them so even we don't forget.

      The other night in Memphis when we were at the cafe having dinner, the young black girl was talking to Deano about where he was from. She wanted him to teach her to say something in Australian. He told her to say G'day Mate.. It sounded so funny.. Then she asked him what she had just said and what it meant. It was hilarious ....

      ... it to your gate so you don't have to carry it with you. We finally found a McDonalds, got some food, and headed to our gate. While ordering food at McDonalds, we were trying to tell the guy what we wanted and he was pretty bi-lingual but afterwards I told him in spanish that I was sorry we didn't speak Spanish. It gave me a different perspective on some of the experiences I've had here at home.

      ... as the wind is blowing and gusting. We made it to the campground west of Milwaukee and we are high on a hill.

      This is the first trip we have made that we have not put out our awning. This was either because of the strong winds or we needed the warmth from the sun. We settled in and took a cruise to visit an antique store (surprise, surprise)!
