    ... which sounded like great fun, but requires a change of clothes and shoes as some time is spent wading through water, and then some time is spent crawling through the red clay. Just a little too rugged with our limited clothing resources on the bike.

    ... yes. The Rowdy Beaver? It's the name of a local restaurant. It's known for its steaks, so, of course we had the pulled pork and it was delicious. The restaurant also had a little gift store where they sold all the possible bad beaver joke t-shirts you could imagine. We passed up this time. Tomorrow we further explore Eureka Springs.

    Thursday 24th May

    After our long day yesterday we had a well needed sleep in. On our way out of the park we dropped by the Rangers Office for some information. Our final desitination was Eureka Springs but the Ranger suggested a stop at Lost Valley on the way for a hike. It was well worth the detour.

    Visiting our friends Dionne, Andy and Squirt has been the highlight of our trip. We headed south out of St. Louis on the I-44 before getting off and exploring some rural routes in the Ozarks.
