It starts out in the morning in the 50's, and begins to warm up to the 70's buy noon, and this week, well into the 90's or 100's by 5:00, the hottest time of the day. Then it begins to cool back down. Since the lava is mostly black, it ...

Had a wonderful dinner and chance to catch up on family things.

Have left the woods behind for a while, the drive was across open and relatively flat land- mostly farming (a lot of potatoes). ...

... be purchased as I recall for 25K, 30K and 38K miles of flying. Little did we know the 38,000 Mile rule didn't apply to the frequent flyer version. It is nearly impossible to fly around the world and travel 38K miles or less so we picked our destinations with care, skipping one desired destination, Ecuador. The other pesky rule is you can’t book a flight sooner than 331 days in advance which is 11 months. Our planned trip was for six months so we couldn’t ...

... home to quickly change and went back into downtown Boise to meet some of her friends for happy hour at a place called The Red Feather. Great cocktails, wine and food for a couple of hours. Boise is a great little city with of outdoor bars and restaurants and everyone seems to cycle everywhere, a real outdoorsy type of place. Perfect for Kate. The next morning we are up early to load up the car to head to the mountains to a place called Ketchum. It's about a 3 ...
