... be ready to leave today. Instead she cooked a feast for us to return home to and devour. Kathy had a scrumptious, chocolate, gluten free and something-else-free cake “to die for”. We ate, relived the day’s adventures, and then dad made a short speech – a beautiful thank you to Kathy and Shawn for hosting our first family reunion in 3 years [and first family reunion without mom] and an exhortation ...

... to spend the next month with Trevor and Sean!! Okay, we're back...after telling all of this to my great friend, Trevor, he pretty much had the exact same response. Within a couple hours, Trevor spoke with his landlord who agreed that I could stay with him for the first two nights until I found something else. So I'm putting all your minds at ease. I will be safe...at least for the first two nights...and NO I will not be couchsurfing on the fire throwers ...
