Nicely appointed studio room. Quiet neighborhood. Good "soup and sandwich" supper.

    Oops! Wrong Vulcan!

Tomorrow we arrive in Atlanta (Lord willing!), so today we had a leisurely morning and didn't leave Jackson, MS, until after 11am. We drove to Birmingham, checked into our hotel (very nice - more frequent hotel points from Dan's Lockheed days), then drove up to Vulcan Park. It was very interesting; I'd never heard of …

Later we drop Alexx off, pick up Leo, and drive to ******* where Pam and Gerry live. Like Kay and Dominick, they have a beautiful and large home. It's in a gated community and we have to call them for the gate code! They show us the house and then we ...

... swim classes from age 4 to 7 with the best swim school in the San Francisco Bay Area. Due to Mark's high Dutch standards (hey, it's swim or sink there sometimes) it still looked pretty pathetic despite all the money we threw at those classes. One of the goals of this trip was thus to get Milo to practice his laps daily to fine-tune his strokes. Tonight, he swam under ...
