    ... a lot smaller of the museums but still had lots to offer. I managed to see George Washington's gear as well as Lincoln's hat and outfit, there were lots of old weapons and also a pair of shoes from the wizard of oz. Again lots of historic things, didn't bother looking at all the presidents wives dresses on show, not my cup of tea. Saw a black squirrel on teh way back, weird.

    ... the Hirshhorn Sculpture Garden (which is one of the Smithsonian Museums). Now, I'll admit I'm not the biggest art fan and am a firm believer that modern art is just a load of junk but the art on show in the garden was really impressive and varied different types from a metal full size tree to a cartoon one dimensional wooden house (perhaps there's a possibility I could be converted).

    Today I picked up my budget truck that I am driving to CA with my stuff to load into my tiny house. It ws great, not only did I get a 14ft truck for the price of a 10ft one but, the 14 ft was only 20 thousand miles old (the 10ft was 150,000!).
