While listening to my most favorite song at the moment (Turtle, by Alana Davis), I've realized my trip has BEGUN!!!! It wasn't real until now. I'm sitting at my seat on my way to JFK airport, waiting for my dinner, and I don't really have much to say except that my excitement is finally here. No worrying, no doubting, just excitement. ... the tendency to talk too much at times. But at the same time I am a people person. I am a driver of conversations and appreciate recognition. I am the dude that has awards all over their wall and just wants to swim in the sea of appreciation. And believe it or not, the assessments are pretty damn accurate! I was even surprised at how well I know these qualities about myself, which of course, led to another happy dance.

Terry Gilliam was also there but only made a brief appearance. We then spent the rest of the evening just looking around the main floors of the Hyatt and Marriott.
