    ... pizza was amazing and probably the most delicious we’d tasted in a long long time. We finish it up, have a few drinks and laughs with Mike and Cyndi and we decide to call it a night. Mike and Cyndi kindly shout us to dinner, which we thought was a super nice gesture. So we told them we would shout them lunch at the park tomorrow. They drop us off at our hotel and we head up to our room and head straight to bed for a big day at the theme park ...

    ... else is getting some cranberry juice and don't get a drink till the meal is served. We've decided there's probably a bit of a code between the flight attendants as whenever we'd finished our drink any one of the passing attendants would grab us another drink. So we had a really nice airline meal and then aided and abetted by the wines had a pretty good sleep.

    We arrived in Dallas about fifteen and a half hours later, had to clear immigration ...

    ... and headed to the port. We went through the check-in process very quickly as it was early -- an advantage of cruising with HAL before, we were allowed to come early.

    ... City Hall. There was a children's event there where you could climb into, on and around various municipal trucks, police cats, fire tenders, etc. It all looked good fun and a good PR exercise for the council.
    We then walked down Miracle Mile, an old regeneration initiative that encouraged small shops to prosper in Coral Gables. Its founder, George Merrick, has his statue outside of City Hall.

    ... into the Veterans Day Parade so we watched that and enjoyed the floats and marchers before heading in to finally grab something to eat. Will was starving by this point. We stopped at an Asian cuisine place where you build your own dish so we got just what each of us wanted. We then continued on to an alleyway of beautiful intimate restaurants. We found a grill place right at the end which had a very reasonable menu with lots of options ...
