... and she said she could pop by in between a luncheon and a meeting. So Mark and Cheryl went down to the pool to see her. Nice visit, but too short, as she had to return to work. Diana, a long time LA resident, was impressed with our funky little hotel.

... for the day! Jenny and her friend Amy picked us up from the hotel at 11am. We were so excited to meet her! And she had made a box full of cake balls for Nikki and I to try! It had loads of flavours and it was so so so yummy!! We first went to the Johnny Cupcakes store! We were pumped! The store looked amazing! Vintage oven doors on the wall opening with steam flowing out of them! A huge gigantic green vintage oven up to the Celine opening into there storage ...
... Today I spent hours struggling with my damn bag again, thank god I wasn't constantly on the move - I'd have to throw half my rubbish out. I spent the morning going for a little drive down to Santa Monica pier and Venice beach. Repeat; pier/wharf, cold, windy, pretty. So I'm now at the airport, and I'm well & truly ready to be home. America really exhausted me and I still don't feel it's traveller friendly. It's a cool place, but I'd rather home, or Central America, any day of the week! M ...
