      ... and she said she could pop by in between a luncheon and a meeting. So Mark and Cheryl went down to the pool to see her. Nice visit, but too short, as she had to return to work. Diana, a long time LA resident, was impressed with our funky little hotel.

      After about an hour, Diana had to go, and the kids wanted to swim, so Cheryl went down with Mac and Jo to the pool while Mark rested. Nice pool, kind of a bow-tie shape, very clean, lots of pool ...

      ... anyone was sick or passed out we moved on, we carried on down the beach, seeing muscle beach and a cool roller skating and skateboard area, which was filled with performers and viewers alike. We really enjoyed these beaches, and kind of wished we had another day to relax there!       ... for the day! Jenny and her friend Amy picked us up from the hotel at 11am. We were so excited to meet her! And she had made a box full of cake balls for Nikki and I to try! It had loads of flavours and it was so so so yummy!! We first went to the Johnny Cupcakes store! We were pumped! The store looked amazing!       ... Today I spent hours struggling with my damn bag again, thank god I wasn't constantly on the move - I'd have to throw half my rubbish out. I spent the morning going for a little drive down to Santa Monica pier and Venice beach. Repeat; pier/wharf, cold, windy, pretty. So I'm now at the airport, and I'm well & truly ready to be home.
