    ... up until1996. On the property is a river where salmon are seen spawning. In the forests is black bear, deer and bobcats. We saw bear claw marks on a tree and that was a worry.The two Rhodesian ridgeback dogs keep the humans safe and guarded. This is the wild woods of Washington state.     ... We joked around, I singned their ping-pong table then we took a shot, it was a nice way to go out. They then took me to the China bus. I took the overnight China bus to NYC. In NYC there was snow everywhere, it was FREEZING! I promptly put on every warm thing I owned and was still cold!

    ... a beautiful mission-style church with lots of music and a surprisingly traditional service...for California.

    Driving through Abbot Kenny Street in Venice, as had been suggested, we found a restaurant called Lemonade, which turned out to be fantastic! It was cafeteria style with wonderful choices from chili-squash salad to braised brisket and, of course, many, many choices of lemonade. We were all very satisfied. (Best restaurant award!)
