Back in the car we headed up for a view of the Hollywood sign from our first viewpoint Beachwood drive and then up to the Observatory in Griffth park, a potentially good view of the city however the haze hampered this. So girls in america must shop, so this is what we did. We drove to the biggest outdoor outlet in LA called Citadel. All the designer shops at outlet prices, Emma grabbing some ...

We left at dusk. The homeless were beginning to settle for the evening. A few more bedding I.e. cardboard were seen than earlier in the day. We couldn't help noticing that at the high end of Downtown, the young and the restless were out having drinks at the outside tables of restaurants and bars. But we could not stay longer. I wanted to go back to the hotel it was a long day. DS agreed.

... bubbles outside at one of the small 'pits'. Lunch time, so we ate at Johnnie's New York just a few minutes wander down the road. I had a delish turkey Panini and Darrin had a chicken parmesan sandwich. They were quite busy, but we were given these yummy pizza holes or something - round pizza dough with pizza sauce for dipping. Needless to say, it was a little early for us to eat such a large lunch, so we ate half and took the rest to go and had it for supper that night ...
