The view from my cabin in Monte Sano was even better than I imagined. Although I was tempted to sleep in, I roused Trixie from her slumber and headed out for a morning hike. ... so much anger in Birmingham towards the African- American people that all they wanted was to be treated with the same respect that they gave. As I approached a replica of a bombed bus (rode by The Freedom Riders) in the museum, it seemed as though the fire on the bus had just be put out.
