It was time for us to make some time and head for St. Cloud, Florida, to see brother Tom, who is now home from the hospital and waiting for us. We looked at all the route possibilities from Asheville and saw that we could take Interstates 75, 85, or 95, but we needed to be on 75 at the end. We left our hotel in Atlanta and headed to the zoo. We have seen enough zoos but the kids were excited to visit this one because there was a baby rhino, gorilla, orangutan and pandas. It was drizzling when we got there and then started pouring. We were patient and got to see the baby gorilla and orangutan. We made it to Memphis as the sun was setting.
It is getting tougher to blog regularly. We did not have wifi at the Hilton because you had to pay for it and we were too cheap. We drove 6 hours on Thursday from Hilton Head but made good time and arrived in Atlanta at around 3 pm.

Getting used to the "freeways" now - spent all this week doing a 25 mike each way commute. The motorways have up to 8 lanes either side here, which seems ridiculous, especially as they're busy between 7-10 & 4-8 daily! Seems the infrastructure can't keep up with the population growth in ATL! ...
