... deserted which was really strange. We walked along the beach towards the public beach which wasn't very nice, Lachie saw a syringe in the sand and it was covered in shells and rubbish. We didn't stay too long and weren't keen on swimming there. We found some breakfast along the road to the ferry, and went to the University side of Venice. ... Life is ok right now! We decided to go out to St Mark's Square after our pizza and we saw a little boat I would like to use to go fishing with the boys. ... they were setting up for a big even though, as they were placing chairs out in the middle of the square and a screen had been erected, which perhaps explains the extreme business of what is already a very busy site.
