    ... were allowed down onto the beach that we could see about 120 meters directly below us ! "YesYes" he said "Just walk down the road about 15m's climb the wall and walk down the 400 steps and you are there".     ... I think they are the most efficient mode of transport. Car speeds are so low that I expect fatalities would be unusual.

    The cave needed an elevator to descend to sea level. Then it was a EU5 entry fee before we boarded a custom made boat in the cave which seated about 20 people.     ... given plenty of close up opportunities for some great pics of the natural wonders. Unfortunately for us the Blue Grotto was a bucket list must that we just didn't get to do. The line for the blue grotto was at least 3 hours long and our tour just couldn't allow for that wait. The upside was our captain promised us that he knew of another blue grotto that he would show us on our return to Positano, so all was not a complete loss.
