... on a row boat. We didn't really know what a grotto was but knew from pictures that it is all about caves and tunnels. It is basically a cave in the cliff face that water enters from a tunnel naturally formed under the surface. What they creates is amazing colours as the sunlight filters in underwater. ... to Naples at 250 km/hour including two stops in Rome.
In Naples we needed to switch to a regionale train to Salerno. The train number and time was not listed on the departures so we went to the ticket office to check it out. After waiting in line for about ½ hour we found out that the time and number for this train had changed. I guess they don’t send email updates in the case of changes. The time was only 6 minutes later than we anticipated so all was still well.
