... relaxing. The view from the top was spectacular and the castle itself amazing. First built in the 11th century, it was fully restored in the early 1900s. After lunch the line of cars and crowds of people magically dispersed and we left to drive to Bergheim. Bergheim is a little, walled, medieval city, and where our accommodation was for the night. It's fun to see the commotion when mum and dad get back to the nest with food. 3 huge birds trying to keep their balance in one ...

... of of others-very popular place. Went briefly up to the Castle on the funicular after crossing the pretty bridge that crosses the Neckar River. Back to the ship . 1st August- Out of Germany and into France to visit Strasbourg. Did an hour canal cruise as the old town is on a series of canals. It was like Paris meets Amsterdam. Very pretty. In town looked at the pink granite Cathedral and it's amazing astronomical clock. ...
