Eric spots a school of Dolphins jumping in the waves and tells us all ...

I think of all the concepts taught in the old Leaving Geography course, this is the only one I really got excited about. The Rhone River valley, its geographical characteristics, and influence on trade never really sparked my interest! Having already seen plumes of smoke around Mt Etna, the thought of actually seeing lava flow at Stromboli was quite exciting. You can walk to the crater with ...

... We freshen up a bit, and then head over to another cousin's house for a final farewell dinner. We eat at Mariano's house with his wife Lina. She is so sweet and gives me a tablecloth that was hand made by my great grandmother, Fortunata. It's over 100 yrs old and it's been passed down from one generation to the next. Lina tells me now I can do the same. I'm overwhelmed with emotion because of the value of these personal and family based traditions. Also, as a loving mother, ...
