      Next, we hit up just about every vintage/second hand shop in the city, as it was so unbelievably cheap. Clothes are bought by the kilo at a set price depending on where you go. After loading our finds back in the car, we walked on to a local park in the city centre which featured gorgeous alcoves and a WW2 monument.       ... I though as I fell asleep into my empty breakfast tray. Köln to Brussels is only 2.5 hours and I slept half of it missing the scenery but my body was telling me 4 hours sleep was guess what? Not enough!       ... matter. Judging by the number of statues and roads named after him, I think Pope John Paul II came from around here. Perhaps as a result the locals trust God to keep them safe.
