... we saw saw swimming near us.

The days were long and hot and we slept on the deck watching the sun set and then rise again. Even the moon, blood red and low in the night sky looked fantastic. Just magic. Hopefully our photos will tell a fuller story but we can say our batteries are recharged and we are looking forward to the last few days of this ...

    ... high. We then
decided to try the one of the Fish Spas, where you submerge your feet in a glass tank and the Garra Rufs fish (a form of small carp) immediately start gently remove dead skin from your feet using their suction-like mouths. It feels a little ticklish at first but was fascinating and surprisingly relaxing, but I think we needed another hour or so to see better results!

... in death. This site is bracing in its solemnity, high for all to see. All the food he used had come from his land; the yoghurt, cheese, eggs, potatoes, olives, honey, walnuts, almonds, chicken and bread. Over our very simple but delicious meals with Nişat we attempted conversations in sign language, he even brought out his photo album to tell us about his family. We didn't understand much but we had ...

... marked. At first you cross a flat land without any vegetation during 15 mn, then you arrive to another cove and follow the seaside. A small isolated house by the sea, a small "pansiyon", tombs here and there, even in the sea.
No remains from the ancient town of Aperlae except the remparts, but from the top of the hill the view is superb.
