    The longest cruise so far

    ... thousand years. Looking down to the village you can see sunken parts of the town that was ancient Simena, and can see the sunken quay that the restaurants are built on, and a lone sarcophagus is standing still, though now partially submerged.

    We have now just arrived safely back in the Finike marina. Each trip we take, we learn more about the boat and become more confident with it. Lots of fun too. Love to all. :-)

    decided to try the one of the Fish Spas, where you submerge your feet in a glass tank and the Garra Rufs fish (a form of small carp) immediately start gently remove dead skin from your feet using their suction-like mouths. It feels a little ticklish at first but was fascinating and surprisingly relaxing, but I think we needed another hour or so to see better results!

    ... dotted the coast, stopping at spots for swimming. We stopped at Kekova island where we climbed to the top to visit Simena Castle, which dates back to the tenth century.

    We finally moored off of one island in a cove, and the crew began preparing dinner. The captain/cook started a fire on shore and roasted fish. It was not until after 9:30 PM that dinner was ready. We were all staving!

    ... grandparents or even further back. One night we stayed with Nişat in a small village and he fed us a very generous dinner and breakfast. All the food he used had come from his land; the yoghurt, cheese, eggs, potatoes, olives, honey, walnuts, almonds, chicken and bread.
