      ... t really feel that secure! We also saw the elephants being bathed, and had some very slobbery elephant kisses! There was a show, but we left after the first half... In what I can only assume was an attempt to raise the mood in a club in which depression loomed on performers and guests alike, I took to spinning around the pole on the raised stage. My improvisation did not impress the management who asked me to climb down several times, before fate intervened and the pole - built for seven stone Thai girls - came away from the ceiling ...

Early tomorrow we are getting on a train to Kuala Lumpur and then onto Singapore where we are attending the Formula One night race (where Linkin Park is performing).
