After breakfast, we drove through a marmot filled ski resort to start our 2 hour hike. We walked through the free range cattle to the top of a 7,000 foot hill with sweeping view of the Cirque du Gavarnie. The sun was out and we had a lovely time. It was cool to see the Breche du ...

Viscos, Midi-Pyrénées, France kramertownWe spent a lazy day in and around our hotel, casually visiting Luz Saint Sauveur, about 10 minutes from our hotel. We also drove up to Gavarnie, the famous Cirque in the region. There weren't much in the ways of views as the mountains were in the clouds.

Viscos, Midi-Pyrénées, France kramertown... Tyler "slept" in the back of our Golf Station Wagon. By 7:30 we were all up and playing soccer in the parking lot. After freshening up, we went down into town and played in a great local playground (2 storey climbing structure with 2 "dark slides" as Tyler likes to call them). On the road by noon we were ...
Viscos, Midi-Pyrénées, France kramertown... my day. After that and thinking some more about Pickering, I figured it was time to sit down and write this rather short entry (I apologize for it being ****. I'm definately not in the mood to write). We travel to Paris tomorrow, and it has tremendous potential especially if we go to Disneyland, and even if not, there's still the shopping. Until then, au revoir.
Lourdes, France knopfler... don't use this and thus don't know it. I think they saw it as some kind of decoration at first. They asked us if they could have it and when we explained what it was for, they came up with the exchange. It was a win-win situation, since one of the horses had repeatedly tried to get the halter off it's head and wounded himself a bit while doing this. A sort of whip? all mongolians use this to sprurr their horses, but it also looks quite different from what we're ...
