We spent a wonderful day with Nicolas, Elodie wee Paul and Antoine. Most of the day was at Nicolas's parents place where the pool was 25 deg, a great bbq and to finish I managed to beat Nicolas at Petanque 2 games to 1.
Taking it easy today as we packed and were taken to Geneva Airport early by Elodie. The afternoon spent in the lounge bar relaxing before our trip home via Zurich on Swiss Air.

It really is the people you meet along the way that make the journey when you are travelling, the hospitality and generosity that we have been shown in France has been hard to accept at times as we have been incredibly ...
Abertville was our lunch stop today as our planned ride was 82km's a big ask through the mountains and the longest of rides to date – talk about not choosing an easy day for a long ride!!! We had a rest for an hour and then found our way to the designated greenway path that would take us all the way to Annecy to complete our goal of 1000km’s cycled in France. We thought we were in for an easy afternoon – not to be the case as it ...
