    ... looking the lake and back down, and down and round and down!!!!! Taking in stunning views, a walk to a hermitage retreat and monestery and a beautiful Romanesque church. Spent the afternoon in the garden, Al Lago before our final dinner in the hotel. Tomorrow, we head off after breakfast , quick stop off in the town of Salo at the bottom of the lake before returning our trusty Italian stallion hire car ( or similar ) and flight home.     ... stay at some cabins in the mountains or not…. The Europeans are so active and fit they put us to shame. Everywhere we go they are walking, running, biking at rapid paces and they are not scared of the odd uphill mountain or two.

    ... mountain bikers and rock climbers - all popular German pastimes so it was little wonder we could hear so many German accents! In peak season the population of about 15,000 doubles and it would be a good place to avoid I reckon!     ... just beautiful, although a bit breezy from time to time. Loooots of wind-surfers, and all the associated variations, but the natural beauty of the place has to be seen to be appreciated. Just magnificent raw beauty!
    Im getting tired as usual, since Treas has been sawing fire wood for a while, so that might be me for the night.

    ... that was very small and had had no lake view except when they went out onto a long communal balcony! We showered and changed and then had a quick drink on the waterfront before joining the others for a hotel dinner, which was pretty reasonable.
