... there was a grocery store down the street! We got our detergent, and started the laundry! We didn't want to be too far from it so we ate dinner across the street. Italian food was the meal tonight! Chandler and I had pasta, while Brooke and Weston ate gnocchi. After s very good and fulfilling meal, we walked back to the laundromat to dry our clothes. You could only dry your clothes for 9 minutes so it took many loads to dry them completely. ...

... a pity about some of the blocks of apartments. We clambered up the walk from the marina to the Cathedral in which are the memorials to Princess Grace and Prince Rainier. On the walk through towards the palace we saw a restaurant advertising an outside terrace so we walked through the restaurant expecting to come out on the back of it, only to come out the side and back onto the street with tables down the side of the restaurant! ... to (only seconds later) the camera lay nearby, it’s lens casing badly dented, and my knees and palms were scratched. My kidney, the transplanted one, was unharmed.

Finding some band-aids in my satchel I patched myself up then applied some more sunscreen – it felt like the right thing to do. While Steven gave the camera the once-over and confirmed that it was broken.

... pleasantly surprised when we got upgraded from a dorm to a private! So Jordyn and I had our own little mini hotel room! With a private bathroom and everything!
