... pick up some postcards. I then head out and over to the Studios.

At the entrance to the studios is a fountain with Mickey as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice. The water flows through several buckets. I enjoy looking at it, but I enjoy most fountains. Just something about flowing water that I have always liked. I enter the park and after heading through the “Disney Studio 1” entrance, I am greeted with the familiar “Partners ...
Marne-la-Vallée, Île-de-France, France psubrat93... uno and who cares about everybody else. Grrrr. So lame. As soon as the fair ended, I tried to have some words with the parents, but alas ... apparently 'rude' doesn't translate to French or Arabic. : ( Disney Paris. Good fun. Perfect timing to encourage the kids for our last leg. With a good nap today, we are able to wrap up the day with no major meltdowns. Tomorrow, we've decided to take it easy in the morning, and hit a couple rides before our train to Paris.
Marne-la-Vallée, France styrskyParis, the city of romance, art and spectacular sites! I got to enjoy this beautiful city with my mother and aunt. We arrived in the Paris Nord train station in the late afternoon, and I was very nervous! I have heard so many horror stories about this particular train station; a few travelers have even gone so far as to say it is the most confusing train station in Europe. We had a few problems finding a ticket office to purchase our return tickets to Maastricht, but ...
Paris, France carpeau... played at Disney Village as we passed through. Our first stop was the Studios once again, with the intention of riding Crush's Coaster as we had declined to ride more than once on the previous day due to a relatively hefty 25 minute queue. When we arrived at the park the coaster was down due to "technical problems" and the weather was particularly sour so we were left sheltering around a closed merchandise stand hoping the ride would open soon. When it didn't look as though it would ...

Marne-la-Vallée, France kylegdavis... We hung out in this little Irish pub down the street waiting for him to clothes shop so we could head back to his house to get the keys. Well, he closed shop, we went to his house and had wine, his name was Raj (Middle Eastern fellow, very nice), and saved my clothes from the dry cleaners. We then drank ourselves silly on our good fortune at the little pub we had stopped at before. The pub ...
Paris, France julian88... too....best Crème brulee we have ever tasted. Garth and Helen are amazed at how much the French love their dogs and how well behaved they are in the restaurants. When we got up to go, Gem was trying to find a little parcel she had put under the table...but it had disappeared...all of a sudden the owner realized what we were looking for and bought it out from behind the counter...turns out the little miniature schnauzer at the table next to us had thought it was a toy for him and had ...
Paris, France gemwayWell, one can totally comprehend why the French Revolution occurred by just taking a tour of the palatial weekend getaway for French royalty, Versailles. It's massive; it's opulent; it's gaudy; but above all, it just screams "I have everything that you never will!" I think French royalty deserved what was coming to them, but at least they got to do it with style and splendor! We saw the bed chambers for the king and queen, their respective ...
