A cool day with on and off drizzle. Time to move on from the Meuse and
head towards the Vosges and the National Parks of Alsace Lorraine, north of
Mulhouse. Thought about stopping in a campsite in the Lorraine National Park
but decided to keep heading south, through Nancy and on to the Ballons des

We left Spain and set off to drive across the French countryside to meet back up with Luke, Kate and the kids and watch the Tour De France. After a long 3 days of driving we eventually arrived in Gerardmer, a ski town during winter that is surrounded by beautiful pines trees, a huge lake and gorgeous French houses.
