    ... yesterday for the first time in 35 million years. On the toe. Despite considerable pain she is soldiering on, putting her best wasp-stung toe/foot forward. Yes, she told me I had to write that. Another version is she said "****" very loudly, a lot. There were lots of wasps 20 miles east of Paris. Oh the irony in such a Catholic country.

    campsite a bit disappointing compared with what we have been at on our travels so far. Not overly friendly, seems more focussed towards French clientele. The surrounds and scenery are beautiful, mountains as far as can be seen. Must be excellent for winter ski season too. Hot still. Summer has certainly hit! ...

    ... in farmers fields. The other strange feature here are the lakes and ponds. This region has over 1,000 of them. Black brackish holes some with boating, fishing and some with gorgeous houses built next to them. We saw an amazing one at la Mer. Two lakes and a sunken swimming pool, mill wheel and landscaped gardens. I was so in ore I forgot to get my camera out. In fact I forgot it most of the ride.     ... Voila.... My electronic ticket to St Pancras arrives at the electronic machine! I bid farewell to Pete who will compete in the Ramsgate Golf Croquet champs on Saturday and Sunday, and head off on my adventure. The train to St Pancras through the lovely Kent countryside is great.     ... of half an hour where we discovered lots of different water sources, no surprise thinking that this area has the famous Vittel sources! Than we went to bed and watched an episode of the Arrow. 12th We had a good sleep, had our first breakfast in the sun and left around 10:30.
