A bit of a laid back day today. Took an early train to Cannes to have a look around, only spent the morning there though. Took a few photos then returned to camp for a restful afternoon. We have enjoyed staying here, the facilities at the camp are excellent, very clean, a little noisy but it is a very big camp so you would expect that. ... when the go between your toes, not so good if you are super ticklish. After lunch on the water front we headed back up to train and took it to Nice where again we wondered down to the sea doing a little shopping on the way.... ... br> Had supper at a small restaurant called La Marmite and had the fish soup with rouille and croutons. Truly delicious and a fond memory from the last time Anne and I were in this part of the world many years ago.

I also went to Jua-Les-Pins which is just next door to Antibes. It is a little more modern and has some stunning villas. I took a memorable drive around the peninsula at sunset.
