Martine drove us through the Pyrenées into Spain, this morning. We explored San Sebastián and then had tapas for lunch. It was fun to try out our Spanish. We found a great ice cream shop and also bought some souvenirs. From there, we went back into France and spent some time in Saint Jean de Luz. This town is famous because it is here that Louis XIV married Eugenie of Spain, forming the Peace Treaty of the Pyrenées. Lastly, we went to ...

The faithful would make a pilgrimage at least once in their lives to visit the relics by following this ...

... we had lunch. Crossed into France again. We had been paying motorway tolls all day in Spain, and now had to pay our share to France! Very trying and expensive at times. Noted the road signs are still in two languages- now French and Basque. Arrived at our camp for the night in the small town of Orhez. Needed to try our poor French again but we managed. Soft rain as we finished dinner. Hope for a quiet night. Tomorrow I ...

... evening but ere were a lot of homeless soles hanging around begging so u had decided - hoping that during the day they would have moved on. Unfortunately they were still t here but I walked in with another group of people - safety in numbers. After the cathedral I tried to locate the petting court. There were students everywhere - when a school bell went they all moved only like the two schools in the area - one was a hospitality school but I am not sure town at the other one ...
