... and it’s really muggy. Just across the border we came to Latte. Really. A campsite appeared on the side of the road suggesting camping by the sea. Not so but we stopped anyway as the skies opened. Set up camp under some trees on an all weather surface. Buy the time we were sorted it had stopped raining.

I just love all the little narrow streets and to think back on the past history of these amazing places, who has walked here before you?
For some reason I thought it would be lovely and warm. after all we were in the Mediterranean! I kind of forgot it was still ...

... those times, you are tired, hungry and get frustrated easily but a slight perspective and you realise how insignificant your problem is and you end up just laughing about it. We had a comfortable journey on the train along the beautiful coast as we entered France. Seeing the sun shining thorough and the clear blue waters stretching out into infinity rose our spirits. Arriving at 9pm in Nice, I tagged along with the girls to Hostel Meyerbeer where they had their booking. I had been ...
