    ... we were at. They make for a cool little souvenir. I was thoroughly disappointed! I ended up paying 3 euros for a big “coin” that said Monaco, and the name of the church we visited….which has still made a neat little souvenir, but it’s just not what I thought it would be.

    We then went to visit part of the race track for the Grand Prix that happens in Monaco for Hector. He was pretty pumped and during this part of the night we actually saw ...

    ... but we don't see anything interesting. We do however pass the new Monaco yacht club building, which, true to form is actually on the shape of a super yacht. Not sure if they will finish it inside ready for the Grand Prix, but they will have a fabulous view of the cars leaving the tunnel, our next stop.

    The tunnel, well it is just an ordinary tunnel really but we stop and take some photos and imagine what it must sound like in there when the formula 1 cars are ...

    ... and walked up some 200 odd steps to the Chateu-Lookout. We've been good in trying to use the stairs and walk instead of lifts to try and get some incidental exercise in, or at least justify all the Gelato's we've had! On the way down we walked through the old city, markets, restaurants and Cafes the usual suspects. The restaurants seem to be big on mussels and seafood, which ill find out later on. Decided on a cheap lunch, so ...

    ... for swanky hotels and expensive shops. The Promenade has every high end brand name we can think of well-represented there, as well as a number of others that we hadn't heard of before. The hotels along the Promenade are very beautiful, and it is fun to see all of the expensive cars gathered in this small town of 70,000 people.
    We enjoyed a stroll around Cannes, and then drove back to Nice for a walk down the Promenade des Anglais. There are ...
