... another book today ( Weds) - "Burn" by James Patterson? Not bad, but not his best work.
Since it's now after midnight, that makes it Wednesday 10th, I think.... And I believe that means we have to endure another night here, because we are booked on the ferry back to the mainland on Thursday morning.

Beautiful day today. Mike and Joy went back to our little market (the employees there are thrilled) and stocked up on more essentials. ... and retraced our steps. What should have taken 45 minutes ended up taking around 3 hours. Signage is not an Italian strong point!

Wednesday was another fine day, and as we had walked so far the previous day we decided to go for a drive. First port of call was Pomarance. We did a quick walk up to the centre of town before returning to the supermarket to buy a few more supplies. Guess what? It was closed.
