A dazed day in Elba.

... in Florence without incident after flagging down two unsuspecting taxi drivers to guide us to the car rental return and then drive us to the train station.
I will remember Paugnano well: Giovanni’s hands and good nature, Giovanna’s cooking and smile, the Rattes and other families we met there, hot sleepless nights, flies, small town visits and gelato, getting our wallets stolen, Lu’s B-day including AcquaVentures, Kieron and beautiful architecture.

I'm Ready to Leave
... and a LOT of fun. The highlights of the 18th, finally some monuments!!! On the 18th we saw the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Wow. It's actually leaning. In my opinion, the cartoons over exaggerated the lean and pictures under exaggerated it, so I had no idea what to expect. Sure enough, it's actually leaning. The next day was Lucy's birthday.
