... is alive. One of the other neat things we see are caves dug out of the rock on the roadway leading up to the village. These caves are used to store stuff or are workspaces for mechanics, wood workers and even serve as a store for local wines. These people are very ingenious when it comes to their space utilization. The sun is starting to set and the old stone just glows.

We head back to our place and pack up for tomorrow. Our next destination is Rome again. ...

... possible. I have to say, the journey was actually OK, and I think I avoided most of the traffic. My stop for that night was a stop on the beach, in a place called Latina, so it meant I could have a little nap in the sunshine on the beach and work on the tan, and generally chill in the peace and quiet after the hustle and bustle of Pompeii.
