... Domus Lilio, our stop for the night, again with a balcony and mountain view. We had another delicious meal, this time at Petrae Lejum,with grilled vegetables followed by gnocchi and mushrooms and pasta with lamb ragu. Before leaving town, we stopped off to get our picnic made up by Giorggio himself in the local grocers shop.

... to show you. So we arrive at Cefalú and have a delicious lunch. Then we walk around the town and visit some shops. They sell a lot of ceramics and nick nacks. We also stop for our daily dose of gelato! Yummy! We take lots of photos and enjoy the beautiful day. ... April 30 we hiked La Rocca. As you can see by the photos, this hike up to the castle offered us the most amazing views of the entire city far below and the sea for many miles. The castle was built by the Arabs in the 9th century then the Norman conquest in 1061 forced them out and back down to the sea. Not very nice of those Norman dudes but actually I would take that sea over living up on that hill anytime. Running to the grocery store would be a real pain ...

Still having fun in Cefalu. Went shopping today bought an awesome raincoat, shoes to match... All Italian made. And some good ol' China made clothes from a store here which name is in English(should have been clue 1)Yesterday we went to the most preserved Roman villa. The floors are covered in mosaics. ...
