... unreal, sun is fierce and not a breath of wind. Afternoons on the balcony are the order of the day, listening to all the birds shouting at each other and arguing over bread dropped on the floor at the cafe by the lake.
Only downside is having to wait until 7 till the restaurants open. Not easy for two gluttons like us. Had a rubbish meal first night too which is enough to put us in a bad mood for about a week. Italy almost done. ...

This is a simple hotel, with simple rooms, with a simple breakfast, that will do job.
If you want a pool, a breakfast with 3 miles and a runaway to put the car...this is not what you are looking for.

... our way down we met an elderly resident so Luigi asked her if there was more to Moltrasio Centro than the one bar/cafe. She said "niente, niente", nothing, nothing... Onwards to Cernobbio just down the road/lake from Moltrasio and it stole the spotlight. Cernobbio is a charming town with beautiful architecture and an interesting Centro. After exploring the town it was time to head back home to relax and make supper. Next up...more of Lake Como and Milan ...

... once or twice per day and is not an express but a slow train that goes right over the Alps instead of under them so that you can see the view. The windows of the train start low and go up into the roof so that you get the most spectacular view. The windows were actually really clean, which is not the norm.
