... us to see everything including the 50 piece orchestra who were as interesting to watch as the production itself. At times there must have been over 200 actors on stage and there were at least 7 or 8 horses that made their appearance. I couldn’t help but wonder if the horses were stabled in the old lions’ dens and if they could still smell or sense them anymore. It certainly didn’t seem like they were upset by anything. We then caught the ferry that we thought was going to Managgio which is on the opposite side of the lake, but it went back to Bellagio so it was an opportunity for me to change out of my wet shirt and get a jacket, of course this was also the signal required for the rain to stop and the sun to come out. I always feel one pizza is too much for one person. But they dont sell pieces - means i have to eat all or leave it. Walking to the town took 25-30 mins by walk. It was long walk but nice to see the lakeside and local people & tourists. ...

Caught the ferry for the trip on Lake Como up to Bellagio; a two hour trip as stop at the towns on the way; I could name them but I won't. At Bellagio we visited Villa Melzi and walked around the gardens. A beautiful spot. Caught the ferry across the lake to Tremezzo (Villa Carlotta) where we visited the Villa. ...
