We unfortunately started to loose daylight at about 5pm and chose to head back into the valley on a different route, down a rather steep track, which took us a good few miles out of our way, but at least we were on a known and made road. I was back out on the trail for around half an hour when I realized the sun was starting to go behind the mountains.
