Residence Champs De Mars

We loved our stay at this lovely little residence. Located on a pedestrian street it was nice to be able to walk without cars. An excellent bakery and a series of coffee bars are located nearby. It s a very safe neighborhood and well lit at night.
The staff at this hotel were great, our room was very clean with service everyday. We did not try the breakfast room as it was quite small and very busy and we were happy to just grab a coffee close by. I would certainly stay here again and I would recommend this to anyone looking for some local charm.

No run this morning, Guys happy we don't have to go looking for that elusive early morning coffee. All up early and straight to the Eiffel Tower, didn't pre book tickets and was expecting the worst but no real issue. Some great views and good photos. Off to the Arc de Triomphe, where we saw some great street busking and some not so good gypsy pick …

Luckily, one of the girls I met earlier, Alison, offered to let me stay with her at her hotel room. So I walked back with her and another girl we met to her hotel to then go to dinner. But before I could go to dinner I had to meet Alice at Gare de l’est to give back her apartment keys and for her to give me my ...
... streets and explore more of the shopping. Craving a home cooked meal we popped by the supermarket at the end of the day and got some ingredients for dinner, as well as bottle of wine. A relaxing night in was just what we wanted as the next day was going to be an even bigger day of walking. Day two in Paris was epic. We knew that there would be lots of other people going to see the Eiffel Tower, so we got there at 9:30 when it was just starting to open up for the day. ...
... perfect for King Louis daily afternoon walks. I don't think you'll understand how big the area is until you walk around it yourself. It's bigger than Nana's farm! Which won't mean a lot to some of you but still. It's big. There's a big central fountain and several themed gardens and even a fountain show set to music! The whole estate is beautiful, but as an ego boost for showing off purposes, I can only imagine what the peasants working their fingers to the bone ...
... since you can change the language to English. He walked us through the machine in French and gave us tickets, which happened to be kids tickets but we didn’t realize. He slid the tickets that cost 2euro each out of his pocket and gave them to us while we were figuring out if it was what we needed. After we paid him and walked away he was able to cancel the transaction he was showing us on the screen. Apparently this is a regular occurrence at this station because ...
