No run this morning, Guys happy we don't have to go looking for that elusive early morning coffee. All up early and straight to the Eiffel Tower, didn't pre book tickets and was expecting the worst but no real issue. Some great views and good photos. Off to the Arc de Triomphe, where we saw some great street busking and some not so good gypsy pick …
... our bags in the room and ventured off towards the Eiffel Tower. As we approached the Eiffel Tower, I said sarcastically to Maggie that this was much bigger than the Eiffel Tower I have seen at King's Island in Cincinnati. We waited about an hour to purchase our tickets and then stepped on the elevator to go to the top. The elevator had large glass windows so we could enjoy the view on the way up, and which made my knees quiver. At one point I had to close my eyes and count to ten ...

Musee de Cluny
While walking to a bus stop a few days ago, we discovered the architectural dig surrounding the Musee de Cluny. As luck would have it, the Cluny is a medieval museum, a mansion once occupied by the Abbots of Cluny, and Mary Tudor's home - all built upon the ruins of ...
Today I tried to go to the Catacombs. I arrived at about 11 and the line was wrapped around the block. I decided to get in line and wait, after about an hour and a half I hadn't moved very far and the line was getting shorter behind me so I decided to leave and come back. I walked over to the near by Montparnasse cemetery. After an hour or so I went to get a panini at a food stand. ...
I had an ok sleep today it wasn't the best because my sister kept rolling around and laying on me. So I kept waking up. Once we all woke up we went down to breakfast and I got to eat muesli. Then we got on the metro (a small underground train) and went to the Montmartre and it was like 40 targes so we went and got ...

We loved our stay at this lovely little residence. Located on a pedestrian street it was nice to be able to walk without cars. An excellent bakery and a series of coffee bars are located nearby. It s a very safe neighborhood and well lit at night.
The staff at this hotel were great, our room was very clean with service everyday. We did not try the breakfast room as it was quite small and very busy and we were happy to just grab a coffee close by. I would certainly stay here again and I would recommend this to anyone looking for some local charm.
