... popping into my head haha.) Even hidden treasures made their way into our Paris ventures like the park we crossed on our way to the museum... Perfect study spot I decided haha. We had drinks with Zoe's friend on the last night we were there... We were very merry on cheaaaaap red wine but the night wasn't the best. :( Next stop however was London and Tomorrowland so we decided one flop was perfectly ok :p ...
... was thrilling. The view from the summit was spectacular and with the spotlight shining from the top and the strobe lights flashing it was quite an experience. It was well after midnight when we finally descended and when we arrived at the Metro station to ride home we were surprised to learn that we just missed the last train home ! We then rushed around to the opposite platform just in time to climb aboard another train heading to ...
... in under 13 hrs!! I was very impressed. It was quite hot the whole day. I spent the day with my other relatives, running around to catch the two competitors at different points in the race. It was hectic but fun.
Yesterday I took the train from Frankfurt to Paris with my aunt Sheenagh and her 7 year old daughter Lauren. It is Lauren's first time in Paris and she is VERY excited ...

While she was outside another lady came ...
... lamb with roasted potato and veggies! Mussels started the meal off perfectly and we ended it with a lemon sorbet. On the walk home we managed to get great shots of Notre Dame and the Biobliotech as well as a few nice images from the bridge of a great Paris sunset.
The next night we had tickets to see a Parisian light show at Invalide called La Nuit aux Invalide. The light show is projected onto the building itself as the audience stands in a large courtyard ...
We loved our stay at this lovely little residence. Located on a pedestrian street it was nice to be able to walk without cars. An excellent bakery and a series of coffee bars are located nearby. It s a very safe neighborhood and well lit at night.
The staff at this hotel were great, our room was very clean with service everyday. We did not try the breakfast room as it was quite small and very busy and we were happy to just grab a coffee close by. I would certainly stay here again and I would recommend this to anyone looking for some local charm.
