... 8pm which often doesn't finish until 1030. By then I'm ready for a good night's sleep so I can do it all again the next day. So the break from cycling was good today, but it was still a full day :). This evening was lovely. We had a very nice dinner in town, along with some very good wines. On the way to the restaurant, we walked through the local artisans market selling some great stuff. I bought myself a ...

... Hotel Le Brieux (I think) for a coffee, cold drink and lunch which was Croque
Monsieur basically a toasted ham sandwich with melted cheese on the top.

Joined by Pen Friend Annie - for a beer we then walked to a little bar up a steep cobbled street and succumbed to a beer.

We returned to
the hotel for a small siesta before being collected again by Annie for another meal at our French friend’s house.

... which was very quiet - bear in mind it was Sunday afternoon and this was the only place open.

We then rode to their house. Now I have been here before but had forgotten how nice the setting was. It has a sea view and is post card picturesque.

We were greeted by Annie and her Mother Isobel and Father Louie (but is known as Li Li) both are remarkable for their ages (both in their 80's) Now a greeting each ...
