Off to Abetone in the Tuscan Hills today. It's a ski resort but we are hoping it will be good for walking in. Stage 5 of the Giro d'Italia finished in Abetone and the scenery looks beautiful. On the way we visited the Ferrari and Ducati museums. I was a little reluctant but they were actually pretty good! We did some local shopping and are having a quieter day at home - changing the beds, lunch on the balcony and ringing home. Love to everyone.

The leaning tower of Pisa is about the only thing people travel to Pisa to see. We were happy to find out that the we could stop there during our transfer from Cinque Terre to Florence and that the Pisa train station had a luggage storage and we could just take a couple hours out of our day to hit up the leaning tower of Pisa and get the token cheesy tourist photos. The Leaning Tower ...

... him again. He fell asleep. I tried to put him down. He cried. You get the picture. This continued until Livia came back, by which time my arms were about to give up the ghost and fall off. Still, on the plus side, it must be making me stronger. When I return to the land of the sane and British, I dare you to challenge me to an arm wrestling contest.
The day being over, I'm off to drown my sorrows in 'Friends', and so, for another day,
