Early start. Smooth transition but all crossing our fingers we would make our 6.40am train. Plenty of time fortunately. Will be a nice day of rest, with 6 hour trip through French country side and Alps. Gorgeous sunrise. Have our trusty ham and salad baguettes for the trip. Arrived in Milan, caught metro to Avis. Not too bad but hot and a tad further than we thought...the day starts to unravel a little...we are now in ...

Drove into the village of Abetone, recognising within minutes that it was obviously a ski town. Being a Monday, many shops and the tourist information centre were closed. ... towards the bus and I hoped Chris found the drug store.

Our little group was together and I saw him holding up a familiar white paper bag and was happy he was as successful as Betty! I took it out and saw it was just what i needed in lieu of genuine US of A Mucinex to help my cough. All of a sudden I hear, "What that in bottle? What you get? Is it cough syrup? Let me see I have to buy!!" It was that ******n Malaysian, Jenni, from the bus who ...

... the morning ski both kids came back to the hotel. After a quick lunch (Metta wasn’t
hungry, so I wasn’t allowed to be) we went back up to the room and Metta finished Harry Potter and then we watched ‘Charlie and the chocolate factory’. I felt a bit bad spending the whole day watching films but the fact that it kept them quiet overpowered the guilt. Besides, after a while ...
