    Off to Abetone in the Tuscan Hills today. It's a ski resort but we are hoping it will be good for walking in. Stage 5 of the Giro d'Italia finished in Abetone and the scenery looks beautiful. On the way we visited the Ferrari and Ducati museums. I was a little reluctant but they were actually pretty good! The Ducati museum tour was succinct and quite interesting and the Ferrari museum for me was less so but still pretty good. ...

    ... we can't get wifi internet in Italy. Their service is consistently good and reasonably cheap. Take that Telstra, Optus and so on. We did some local shopping and are having a quieter day at home - changing the beds, lunch on the balcony and ringing home. Missing my boys quite a bit so it was lovely ringing Luke and Nanna - forgot to tell you Mum there is a shop in Florence called Betty Florence!

    ... and soil" from beneath the tower, and using lead to stabilise, the tower currently leans at 5* and is secure for the coming three centuries.

    We re-joined the bus after a quick lunch and headed on our 4-hr coach trip to Venice. After our boat trip in, the group had another enjoyable dinner out and time to enjoy the night cultural experience before getting some much needed rest.

    ... in so we could drop our bag off and relax. Our room was on the second floor, which is actually the third floor here because they always start with 0 called the piano floor....the view was to die for. We laid on the bed and took a nap with the floor to ceiling french doors open so we could hear the crash of the sea.

    We decided to relax and enjoy ourselves for the rest of the day and hike tomorrow. Walked all around ...
