Another amazing day, stifling hot yet again,spent morning in Sorrento with time on our own after tour of factory which hand makes wooden furniture with lace work or paintings lacquered over on tops. ... out the large sand box (yes, sand!) so we got out the boys shovels and buckets and they spent some time digging. We finally headed back to the apartment with dark clouds on the horizon. As long as we have a car, let's take a drive up the coast. Heading to Porec to admire mosaics in a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

I first admire the polished stones of the shopping area of the old city. These must be a recent upgrade because they are mostly even and easy to walk on.
