... 8211; the perfect hideout for the bold, headstrong and rebellious knight Erazem of Predjama, a “robber baron” who is the subject of a romantic and beautiful legend. This was a quick stop as we only looked at the castle from outside without paying to enter it. I believe it definitely looks better when viewed from outside. It was very interesting to see the castle backed by a huge cave. ...

A couple of streets away and we hit a canal and floating in the middle are any number of brightly coloured lilo's. It looks amazing but very strange. ... The truffles had a strong mushroomy flavour, it was nice but quite rich. In the morning it had been hot and sunny, but when we left the restaurant it was starting to rain. The light rain quickly became a downpour. We were going to look around the rest of the village, but we were soon soaked to the skin so we ran back down the hill and caught a bus back to the car. We drove back to the villa and spent a quiet afternoon ...

After a late start we headed off for Croatia. No wind and calm seas but our new recruit Scott was not impressed!! 4 hours later we arrived with a very green passenger who could not get up to face customs! 1 hour later after we had tied up he was back with us eating crisps and swigging schnapps! Great to be back on board and only a few snags with Ellisa on the way down, mainly human error so very ...
