A visit to the Western side of Lake Como
Slept in until after 8 this morning. Cold and cloudy outside so we had a slow breakfast and some good conversation around the dining room table for the whole morning. Interesting views from the cottage - sometimes looking out above the clouds at the sunshine but seeing nothing of the lake below.

Birthday celebrations in the mountains

Bellissimo Bellagio
... we would have had no chance of making it back to Andrea's house without her. Saw the old village square/piazza, community washing tub and a number of outstanding viewing points on different tracks about the village. Walked to the other end of the village where the second car park is and as it was now dark (approx 6pm) we then headed back along the alley ways to the Schenk residence.
