On the way to to the ferry we had planned to stop to see the other Nuraghic ruins that we didn't see the other day, These were supposed to be bigger and better, and they didn't disappoint. The most impressive was a village covering 4 hectares. The biggest most complete tower was the central meeting area for the village and the chiefs dig's. These are round houses 2 stories tall made completely of stones. ...
Within minutes of arriving on the French Island of Corsica, we noticed a big difference from Italy. The roads are organised, sign posted and in comparison to Sicily the cars are massive...and newer. There is hardly any rubbish by the side of the roads (& there are even recycling bins). Left Sardignia on ferry. Slightly chaotic. Every one wanted to be first except the officials. Didn't arrive until 45 minutes after the allotted time Ba!
